My first Essie polish!

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely day. Today I want to share my first ever Essie nail polish! (I have Shine of the Times but I don't really consider that a polish that you can wear on it's own.) Enjoy!

Mojio Madness is a bright green creme that is fully opaque in 2 coats. I believe this polish is part of the Essie 2012 Summer Collection. Correct me if I'm wrong. I need to purchase more Essie polishes, what is your favoirte Essie color?

I absolutely love this color, however since it's fall I brought it down it notch by sponging on a duochrome polish.

Designer Piggies: Nail Art Decal Review

Hello my lovelies! A few weeks ago I was contacted by Cindy, who makes and designs nail decals. She asked if I wanted to test them out and review them for her! Of course, I said yes and I am super impressed. I chose the piggy decals because that's the name of her decals and they are so adorable! Enjoy!

-Great quality
-Comes with either 14 or 28 so there are different sizes you can choose from
-Lasted me about 4 days!

Overall, I really enjoyed these nail decals. Check out her online store to see more designs!

Born Pretty Review: Striping Tape

Hey everyone! So a couple weeks ago I was contacted by Born Pretty Store. I was offered to review an item from. I accepted an so I'll be reviewing their striping tape.  They have an amazing wide variety of nail products so be sure to check out!

*Get 10% of any item with this code: ESL91
*Striping Tape

What I came up with:

My thoughts:
-There are so many possibilities with striping tape. I've always tried to do tape mani but scotch doesn't work very well with me and it's hard to cut it into thin pieces.
-Great price for 12 different colored rolls
-Perfect size for creating these types of manis
-Sticks well to nail and comes off easily
-Overall I was very please and impressed with these! :)

Fall Mani

Hey everyone! It's finally that time of year when the days are sunny and nights are chilly! My favorite season: fall. I love everything about it: the leaves falling, chilly days, starbucks everyday, halloween. I think I'll stop.

I decided to once again create a mani inspired by fall. I attempted two last year but both were a fail. Check them out: Fail #1 and Fail #2! But this year I really liked how they look! Enjoy!

ROSE TUTORIAL: Using dotting tools

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastic day. It's almost Friday, yay! One of my followers requested a rose tutorial and I was a bit hesitant since I've never done roses by hand. But I was bored last night and decided to wing it. I loved how it came out so I decided to post it! Enjoy!

This is super easy and only requires some dotting tools! Don't have a dotting tool? Here are some alternatives:
-toothpick
-a sharp pencil
-a pushpin
-bobby pin

Let's get started!

Products you will need:

-(Not pictured): Base & Top Coat: Seche Retain & Seche Vite

-4-5 Polishes: Icing: Electric Emerald, OPI: Strawberry Margarita, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear: Mint Sorbet, Pure Ice: Super Star

-1 very small dotting tool, a medium sized, and a large dotting tool. (Mine are double ended so I only used 2)

1. Apply Base Coat

2. Apply 2 coats of your base color

3. Take your large dotting tool and make uneven circles with the color of your choice

4.(Optional) Repeat step 3 but this time use a different color
*You don't really need to use a different color, unless you are making one rose pink/white and another white/red or a different color

5. Take your smallest dotting tool & a different color polish and start making little crooked lines on the circles

6. With the medium sized dotting tool & a green polish and make small leaves on some roses

7. Mix green and white or take a lighter green

8. Take your small dotting tool and make small lines in the middle of the leaves

9. Clean up your cuticles

10. Apply a top coat and you're done!
