KKCenterHk Review: Fuzzy Stickers

Hey everyone! I have the last product sent to me from KKCenterHk. They are these adorable chanel/ french tip pink stickers!

I did do these on my mom because her nails are wider and the sticker were too big for mine.  Also she's not really into the whole nail/blog thing so she didn't let me take very good pictures. Which is a shame because if she took care of her nails, she would have gorgeous long nails! Well, enough ranting about her lol.

 My thoughts:
-I liked that they have two shapes: square and oval.
-I obviously love that they are fuzzy/fluffy
-They aren't sticky like regular nail stickers. These are like those stickers you use on windows.
-Since they weren't sticking very good , I ended applying a top coat.
-I wish they came in more sizes.

Overall, they are ok. I couldn't really get them to stick and they didn't fit well but they are cute!

KKCenterHk Review: Image Plate, Scraper & Stamper

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a great week so far! I have been meaning to do this post for such a long time but here it is! Enjoy!

*Image Plate: N.NAIL Stamping Image Stamp Template Plate SPPMB26 

My thoughts:
-The plate does not having a backing so it is sharp
-As you can see from the picture above the polish does not get distributed onto the image
-I tried it with both the original scraper and the one they sent me, both scrapers did not work on this
-Overall, this plate did not work at all for me. I tried every image and different polishes. Not sure if I got one that doesn't work

*Stamper & Scraper

My thoughts:
-I loved these two!
-The scraper has a plastic edge instead of the metal konad one. I really liked this because it doesn't scrape the image plates!
-The only downside to the scraper is that you have to apply a bit more pressure to make sure you scrape the excess polish off
-The stamper is in my opinion an exact dupe to a konad one. It picks up the images perfectly and stamps amazingly too!

Air Mister Review & Announcement!

Hello beautiful ladies! For today, I'll be reviewing an air mister I bought at Target!
However, before I start this review I want to make a little announcement. I will begin to review more beauty products, nail products, and maybe do some makeup looks.
Mostly because I don't have time to do my nails everyday and because my mom isn't very fond of my nail polish obsession. Because of that I want to change the name of my blog. Soooo I thought it would be fun to include you guys and have a Change My Blog Name Contest!! This contest will begin on May 5th and I will have more details later!

Now onto the review:

-Info: This air mister is perfect for hot summer days at the park or wherever you go. It gives you a perfect spray of water that instantly coolsyou down. The great thing about this is that it doesn't require batteries!

-Price: Wait for it................$2.50!! (@ Target) I have bought 4 more since, I love these! It a great price compared to the ones with batteries and fans that cost $10-$20.

-All you do is fill the bottle with 3/4 water, pump the bottom a few times, and press the button!!

L.A Colors Scented Nail Polish Remover Pads Review

Hey everyone! A couple weeks ago, I was at Deals and I spotted these scented nail polish remover pads! I decided to give them a try and I've bought 2 more since! I purchased two that are melon scented an one that is peach. Enjoy!

Here we go:

-Price: $1 (@ Deals, I could not find them at Dollar General or Dollar Tree). They are also available online here or on amazon here
-The package comes with 32 thin pads
-The scent on these are incredible! They are acetone free and have no harsh scents.
-Works great, one pad removes the polish on all 10 fingers! Even removes GLITTER (check out my demo video below)
-To me, the pads actually moisturize my cuticles. They release a bit of a greasy oil when removing the polish.
-The package says to wash hands after, good tip because of the oil residue left on your nails/cuticles.
-They are great to wrap around an orange stick/dotting tool and remove the polish around the cuticles!
-I definitely recommend these for easy, on the go nail polish remover or if you don't like the harsh scents of regular nail polish removers!
- Scents available: lemon, strawberry, grape, peach, melon, and pear!

Hard As Hoof Review

Hello everyone! For today, I'll be reviewing the Hard as Hoof Nail Strengthening Cream. I read so many great things about it & decided to give it a shot. I've had for 3 months now and finally decided to do a review on it! Enjoy!

-Price: $7 (@ Walmart)

-Description: This cream is supposed to prevent the following: splits, chipping, thin/fragile nails. You are recommended to apply this 3 times a day & it can be applied over nail polish.

-Smell: Omg, this stuff smells incredible! It has a light almond scent with cherries!

-My thoughts: I feel like this does NOT prevent chipping or splitting. I do apply this 3 times daily and the only thing I've noticed it that my nails are somewhat stronger. I guess this is one of those products that doesn't work on everyone. The only thing I did like about this is that whenever I get out of the shower, my nails feel so weak & after I apply this my nails instantly absorb this and nourishes my cuticles. So point is: I wouldn't recommend this product. I feel like you could get the same results with good cuticle cream/oil.

They are at a reasonable price and you are gettting 18 tea bags! My favorite is the cinnamon apple chamomile! Some are even good cold! I have tried all of them and loved them except the licorice spice because I hate licorice. I do have one tiny complaint: the teas that are "fruit flavored" like the blueberry and mango, etc. tend to taste a bit like medicine/cough syrup! It might just be me though. But seriously, next time you go to the supermarket, PLEASE pick up these teas!

Influenster Review: Kiss Nail Dress Stickers

Hey everyone! This is the second product I'll be reviewing from my Influenster LoveBox.

Kiss Nail Dress:

-Price: Nail Dress’ suggested retail is $6.99 and is available in all major drug chains and mass retailers like WalMart, CVS and Walgreens (I saw some at dollar general as well)

-My thoughts: I'm not a big fan of nail stickers but these are A LOT easier than the Sally Hansen ones. They lasted me 5 days (but that is only because my nails started to grow). They do not peel or snag in the shower or while washing dishes! They come off super easy, you just peel them off. I added a top coat and that did not affect them. The only complaint I have is that they have a bit of a strong odor to them and leave a bit off a residue after you take them off. If you do like nail stickers I would recommend these for you! You can also use them on your toes!

-Product Detail: With 28 strips in each package, you can cut up your extras to create designs that can be used on top of polished or artificial nails. Nail Dress doesn’t dry out the way other polish strips can, so you can save them to use on your next DIY mani. A nail design booklet is included in each package, just in case you need a little inspiration. They also come in 18 different styles!

Influenster Review: Venus & Olay Razor

Lets get started:

-Price: Retails for $8.99- $10.99. Packages of three replacement cartridges are available for about $14.99 - $19.49.

-My thoughts: At first I was a bit nervous because I have sensitive skin and the box says that you do not need shaving cream and because it has 5 blades. Let me tell you, I am IN LOVE with this razor! All you need to do is wet the razor to "activate" the Olay moisture bars and it shaves like a dream! It leaves your legs sooooooo silky and I didn't need lotion after! I did not get razor burn or cuts! If you haven't tried this, go out and buy one because it is definitely worth you money!

-Description/ Product Details:
-Venus’ five-bladed razors shave you close and adjust to women’s curves for a smooth and comfortable shave, even over tricky shaving areas like knees and ankles.

Sally Hansen Nails & Cuticles Hand Creme Review

Hey everyone! So today I'll be reviewing the Sally Hansen Nails & Cuticles Hand Creme. I got the mini size for Christmas and I thought I would share this with you guys!

Onto the review:

-Price: about $8 (for the fullsize @ Walgreens)
-Smell: Even though its shea butter it smells very fresh and lemony
-Consistency: Very creamy, waxy, not greasy
-Application: Goes on smooth and easily
-My thought: I really love the smell and consistency of this creme. Honestly though, I don't really like it. It does not soften hands or condition nails. It does smooth cuticle but does not last 24 hours. I wouldn't recommend this.

*Personally I'll be sticking to Hard As Hoof (doing a review on that very soon). But again results may very, everybody likes different things

Battle of the Base Coats!

Hello everyone! So for today I have a battle of the base coats to share! It's between Seche Retain & CG Strong Adhesion Base Coat. Enjoy! :)

First I have China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat:

-Price: about $6 (@ Sally Beauty)
-Color: Clear & gives my nails a nice shine
-Wear: Decent
-Drying: Dries very quickly- 20 seconds
-My thoughts: I used to love this base coat but I wanted to try something new! If you want to go with natural nail, I would suggest this base coat!

Now onto Seche Retain:

-Price: about $8 (@ Sally Beauty)
-Color: a slight and sheer nude color but does not provide a lot of shine
-Wear: Great, keeps my mani on longer than the CG base coat
-Drying: around 35 seconds
-My thoughts: It does what its supposed to do, maintain strong and durable nails. If you are planning on doing a full mani, then I would use this one!

So who wins this battle??? ...................................Seche Retain.....................


Why? I chose Seche Retain because it keeps my mani on longer & aside from being a base coat it also helps keep my nail healthy and somewhat strong!

However, if you don't do your nails as much as I do, & if you just want to do a natural mani then I would suggest using China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat because it give a beautiful shine!

Top 3 Top Coats/ Review

Hey everyone! :) So for today I will be reviewing my 3 favorite top coats. I couldn't pick just one, so ill be doing a little review on all of them! Hope this is helpful for you guys! Enjoy :)

Alright so the first one ill be reviewing is the ever so famous Seche Vite (I am reviewing in a random order):

-Price: Around $8-10 (I got mine at Wal-Mart)
-Drying Time: Out of the 3 top coats, this has the fastest drying time- about 30 seconds
-Smell: This one is not too harsh but it still has a strong scent
-Finish: Glossy & Glass like, it takes 2 coats to get it super shiny
-Wear: Chips after a day or two, doesn't peel too much & tends to cause shrinking
-My thoughts: I love that it dries so quickly and gives you nails a glass like effect. I also like that if you accidentally smudge you nail, one coat of this will fix it!
-Overall rating: 8.5

Next I have Sally Hansen Insta- Dri Anti- Chip Top Coat

-Price: Around $4 (Also, bought at Wal- Mart)
-Drying: Slowest drying time out of the 3- about 1 minute
-Smell: This one barely has a smell too it which is nice
-Finish: Provides shine but not too much (I like to apply 2 coats)
-Wear: Has the longest wear out of the 3 & does not peel
-My thoughts: For the price, this is a great top coat! Although is has a slightly longer drying time, it still dries fast & gives you mani a nice shine!
-Overall Rating: 9

And last but not least, China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat

-Price: $5-7 (I bought this at Sally Beauty)
-Drying: Dries almost as fast as Seche Vite- 40 seconds
-Smell: This top coat has the worst smell , it has a very sweet overpowering & harsh scent
-Finish: This is the glossiest out of the 3 & gives a glassy effect (only 1 coat)
-Wear: Has the worst wear, chips in a day & peels on me after washing dishes or a shower
-My thoughts: I love how fast it dries & that it gives a super glossy finish to your nails! If you get headaches easily this won't work for you because of the smell.
-Overall rating: 8.5

Pink Wednesday-Swatch & Review

Hey everyone! For this pink Wednesday I wanted to do a quick swatch & review  of a polish (Revlon: Starry Pink) my boyfriend bought me while shopping for my giveaway!
*Before I forget, if you haven't entered my Valentine's Day Giveaway or Lydia's Valentines Day Giveaway make sure to do so!!!
Review: 
-The color is a light pale pink with a bit of an lilac undertone with large silver hex glitters as well as small ones
-The formula is a bit sheer, so full opacity can be reached with 3 coats (As I did below)
- Layered on itself, it creates a gorgeous glitter sandwich!
-If you prefer not to use 3 coats, I suggest to use an opaque pale pink first then use this on top
-It is a pain in the *** to remove (even after using the foil method & the other way)
-Overall, I love this polish! Im a sucker for polishes that look great alone without stamping or stuff like that!

-Sally Hansen: Anti- Chip Top Coat

Icing-Gold Dust Swatch

Hey everyone! So for today I have a quick review and swatch of Icing: Gold Dust. Gold Dust is a clear base loaded with silver, copper, and gold glitters! It can be used as a topcoat to add some sparkle like ive done here or as a base color like ive done here . I love the brushes on Icing polishes, they are short and pretty thick. As far as this polish goes to get it opaque it requires 3 coat, although you can get away with 2 coats. $4.50 for a glitter polish is definitely worth it! Enjoy! :)

Christmas Present Review #2 (Picture Spam)

Hey all! So as promised, I have my second xmas present for review today! I save this one for last because it was my favorite!! :)

The Color Workshop Nail Stage Collection ($10 @ my local Wal-Mart).

*Overall I was super happy, for the $10 my mom spent, I think it was worth it for all these products!!
*All the polishes except 1 were all shimmers or glitters, the other one was a creme.
*The french mani polishes worked great, although the white polish was a bit sheer!

Now onto the nail polish reviews (they do not have names btw) :

*A red creme more on the coral family (opaque in 2 coats) 

*One of my favorites

*An iridescent lilac with purple micro glittlers  (opaque in 3-4 coats) 

*Sheer purple base with holo glitter (opaque in 4-5 coats) 

*Really pretty, love it! 

*Sheer black base with mini silver and green glitters (opaque in 2-3 coats) 

*Nude pink base with purple micro glitter (opaque in 3-4 coats) 

*This is also one of my favorites, looks gorgeous against my skin color

*Sheer iridescent base with silver flakies (this is great for layering, opaque in 4-5 coats) 

*This one is my favorite! I love polishes with flakies! 

*Gold/ copper shimmer polish

*Brown base with copper shimmers (opaque in 2 coats) 

*Also one of my favorites! 

*Bright pink base with purple micro glitter 

*Clear base with tons of holo glitters 

*A very very very close dupe of China Glaze in Fairy Dust 

                                    The French Mani Set 

*The french pink is a perfect shade for a french mani 

*The white is a bit sheer but two coats works 

*The topcoat takes awhile to dry & add a bit of shine

Christmas Present Review #1

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas! :) I would love  to know what you all got as presents?? Leave a comment below! So my mom got me a few gifts and 2 of them were nail polish sets of course :) Today i will share one of them  & stay tuned tomorrow for the other one! & I hope this makes up for my 2 missed days of 12 Days of Christmas!

Alright so she got me a Sally Hansen Merry Manicure! ($10) :

Includes the following:

1 Insta-Dri Nail Polish in Presto Pink 

• Dont like the brush, it is way to thick 
• Love, love, love the color! Goes on a bit brighter than the color of the bottle 
• It's coverage is amazing (opaque in one coat) but it leave streaking, but another coat fixes that  

Quick Swatch 

• Color is a bit pinker in this picture (but the real color is a bit more like the bottle but brighter) 

1 Nail Clipper & 1 Nail File 

• Nail Clipper works great! 
• Nail File works good as well but I only use glass or crystal files on my nails 

1 Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat 

• Applies easily
• Gives the polish great shine! :)
• Does not dry very quick. The package said it would dry in 30 seconds but it took a little over a minute (I'm sticking to Seche Vite, but if i ever run out, this will do) 

1 Nails & Cuticles Hand Creme in Shea Butter 

• This creme smells amazing!! It has a bit of a lemony/fresh scent! I love it! 
• Applies great! 
• It is not too thick or oily and I really like it! 
• It does soften my hands & overall I'm very pleased with it! 

*Alright well I hoped you guys liked my review of my Christmas present! I definitely would recommend this to anyone! Like I said, stay tuned tomorrow for review #2 :)
