First Try at BM plates!

Nail Fact: The longest finger nail ever recorded was that of an Indian guy and it was 48 inches long (damn i cant even get mine to grow 1 inch lol)

So i finally decided to order bundle monster plates mainly because konad is too expensive. I didnt try to do anything fancy coz i just wanted to get the hang of it first. Here it is! Enjoy!

& thats how they make strawberry milk!

Nail Fact: Nails grow at different speeds on both hands. If you are right-handed, the nails on your right hand will grow faster than the nails on your left hand and vice versa.

So my best frand was at my house & i asked her to pick out a mani for me to do & share on my blog! This is what she picked..Enjoy! :)

Fun & Interesting Nail Facts

So i decided i wanted to do something more with my nail blog so now every time i post a new mani, i will end/and or start with a fun or interesting nail fact!! So to start this off i thought id share 5 right now! Enjoy! :)

1.) Nails don't sweat. The nail bed does not have sweat glands, so it can't perspire. It is the skin around the nails that gets sweaty.

2.) Men's nails grow faster than women's nails

3.) Finger nails for both genders grow faster than toe nails

4.) The fastest growing nail is on the middle finger. The slowest – on the thumbnail (I disagree)

5.) Nails reflect your health status

Bumble Bee High!

So my last post, i used a yellow by Kleancolor and i ended up hating it(the mani) ! So i wanted to do another manicure using the same yellow, but to my disappointment the manicure only lasted 10 minutes!! Why?! Because 1. the consistency is very thick but sheer 2. within 10 minutes & after a top coat it came off on its own! As much as i loved this color & the mani, i think im gonna just gonna use this yellow for sponge manis. But here it is! Enjoy!! :)

Look closely at my pinky finger & you can see how after a couple of minutes it started to smudge & come off

-Base Coat: China Glaze in Strong Adhesion Base Coat
-Yellow: Kleancolor in Funky Yellow
-Konad: Image plate m78 & black nail polish
-Top Coat: China Glaze in Fast Forward Top Coat

I wanted to use my new yellow polish by Kleancolor so i just whipped up something in my head and it turned out horrible. Although i hate it, i still wanted to share it! Try to enjoy!

How to remove glitter polish (2 ways)

Like i said on my last post, im a sucker for glitter nail polish but they are a pain to remove. There are two ways to remove it. I like it to call them the tedious foil method or the little magic bottle!

Foil Method:
- Stuff Needed:
-foil (make sure the foil pieces are long enough to wrap around your finger)
- nail polish remover
-cotton balls/pads

Step 1: Take ten cotton balls and soak them in nail polish remover

Step 2: Place the cotton balls in 10 pieces of foil and wrap them around your fingers

Step 3: Wait about a minute

Step4: Apply slight pressure and slip of the foils ,and viola!! Glitter is all gone!

Magic Bottle Methond:
-Stuff Needed
- Equate/Cutex Instant Nail Polish Remover Bottle ($2 at wal-mart in the nail section)

Basically its a big sponge already soaked with nail polish remover/acetone!

Step 1: Stick your finger in the sponge

Step 2: Twist your fingers around for about 45 seconds and thats it! Glitter completely removed!!

I hoped this helped! :)

A Nail Polish Lovers Dream Turned Nightmare!

Today after breakfast at bread co. with my mom, I noticed a store called Cosmo Prof. China Glaze nail polishes immediately caught my eye and when i saw the price, i was very happy. $3.50 per bottle which is like 50% off and i noticed they had seche vite top coat for the same price which is $9 at other stores! I quickly grabed a bottle and one of china glaze. I was getting ready to pay when my mom came in the store & told me to come outside. The sign on the door said: We only service to licensed professional, students, etc. Since im not in cosmetology school yet, that meant i couldnt buy it & i went home empty handed, mad, & frustrated.!!
