ROSE TUTORIAL: Using dotting tools

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastic day. It's almost Friday, yay! One of my followers requested a rose tutorial and I was a bit hesitant since I've never done roses by hand. But I was bored last night and decided to wing it. I loved how it came out so I decided to post it! Enjoy!

This is super easy and only requires some dotting tools! Don't have a dotting tool? Here are some alternatives:
-toothpick
-a sharp pencil
-a pushpin
-bobby pin

Let's get started!

Products you will need:

-(Not pictured): Base & Top Coat: Seche Retain & Seche Vite

-4-5 Polishes: Icing: Electric Emerald, OPI: Strawberry Margarita, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear: Mint Sorbet, Pure Ice: Super Star

-1 very small dotting tool, a medium sized, and a large dotting tool. (Mine are double ended so I only used 2)

1. Apply Base Coat

2. Apply 2 coats of your base color

3. Take your large dotting tool and make uneven circles with the color of your choice

4.(Optional) Repeat step 3 but this time use a different color
*You don't really need to use a different color, unless you are making one rose pink/white and another white/red or a different color

5. Take your smallest dotting tool & a different color polish and start making little crooked lines on the circles

6. With the medium sized dotting tool & a green polish and make small leaves on some roses

7. Mix green and white or take a lighter green

8. Take your small dotting tool and make small lines in the middle of the leaves

9. Clean up your cuticles

10. Apply a top coat and you're done!

KKCenterHk Review: Water Decals

Hello everyone! Today, I'll be reviewing some water decals sent by KKCenterHk. I was a bit nervous at first because I didn't know how to apply them but after a couple of youtube videos I decided to give it a try! Enjoy

I chose these gorgeous Chanel decals and did a teal/white gradient underneath!

*Link to water decals: CC Design

-Pure Ice: Super Star
-Icing: Teal For Real

My thoughts:
-Perfect size for my nails
-Came off the backing easily onto my finger
-Super easy to place
-Easy to smooth out air bubbles (I used a dotting tool)
-Easy to move around once placed on nail
-Does not lift once top coat is applied

Overall, I absolutely love these!! :)

2 Cinco de Mayo Mani's!!

Hello lovely nail addicts! Since tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo & I am mexican, I thought I would create 2 fun mani's! The first one is super easy and festive &  the second one has some chips, hot salsa, a margarita, and a french tip using the colors using the mexican flag! Enjoy! :)

*Fun facst: United States "celebrate" Cinco de Mayo more than people in Mexico. In Mexico they mainly only celebrate it in a state called Puebla!

*Cindo de Mayo is NOT Mexico's Independence day (that takes place September 16th)

Franken Blogger Series Part 2: Fan-Dabi-Dozi

Hey everyone! For today, I have the 2nd part of my franken series. This one is inspired by Katee from A Girl and Her Polish. I love her blog and we just did a nail/beauty swap! I actually sent this one to her and asked what color she wanted her franken. She said that she's been liking white, and I liked the idea of a white franken. So I came up with a white polish with silver shimmers, pink glitter, blue micro glitters, and  purple/blue hex glitters! She picked the name: Fan-Dabi-Dozi!  Enjoy!

*There will be one more franken inspired by Jenni by Gold Speck Nails

Formula:

-Pure Ice: Don't You Wish
-L.A Colors: Purple Glitter
-Icing: Electric Sapphire
