Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely day. Today I want to share my first ever Essie nail polish! (I have Shine of the Times but I don't really consider that a polish that you can wear on it's own.) Enjoy!
Mojio Madness is a bright green creme that is fully opaque in 2 coats. I believe this polish is part of the Essie 2012 Summer Collection. Correct me if I'm wrong. I need to purchase more Essie polishes, what is your favoirte Essie color?
I absolutely love this color, however since it's fall I brought it down it notch by sponging on a duochrome polish.

Hello my lovelies! A few weeks ago I was contacted by Cindy, who makes and designs nail decals. She asked if I wanted to test them out and review them for her! -Great price for 12 different colored rolls
-Perfect size for creating these types of manis
-Sticks well to nail and comes off easily
-Overall I was very please and impressed with these! :)

Fall Mani
Hey everyone! It's finally that time of year when the days are sunny and nights are chilly! My favorite season: fall. I love everything about it: the leaves falling, chilly days, starbucks everyday, halloween. I think I'll stop.
I decided to once again create a mani inspired by fall. I attempted two last year but both were a fail. Check them out: Fail #1 and Fail #2! But this year I really liked how they look! Enjoy!
-Dots: Metallic Bronze
-The Color Workshop: (No name)
-Wet n Wild: (Name rubbed off)
-BM04
-Pure Ice: Super Star
-Seche Vite

ROSE TUTORIAL: Using dotting tools
Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastic day. It's almost Friday, yay! One of my followers requested a rose tutorial and I was a bit hesitant since I've never done roses by hand. But I was bored last night and decided to wing it. I loved how it came out so I decided to post it! Enjoy!
This is super easy and only requires some dotting tools! Don't have a dotting tool? Here are some alternatives:
-toothpick
-a sharp pencil
-a pushpin
-bobby pin
Let's get started!
Products you will need:
-(Not pictured): Base & Top Coat: Seche Retain & Seche Vite
-4-5 Polishes: Icing: Electric Emerald, OPI: Strawberry Margarita, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear: Mint Sorbet, Pure Ice: Super Star
-1 very small dotting tool, a medium sized, and a large dotting tool. (Mine are double ended so I only used 2)
1. Apply Base Coat
2. Apply 2 coats of your base color
3. Take your large dotting tool and make uneven circles with the color of your choice
4.(Optional) Repeat step 3 but this time use a different color
*You don't really need to use a different color, unless you are making one rose pink/white and another white/red or a different color
5. Take your smallest dotting tool & a different color polish and start making little crooked lines on the circles
6. With the medium sized dotting tool & a green polish and make small leaves on some roses
7. Mix green and white or take a lighter green
8. Take your small dotting tool and make small lines in the middle of the leaves
9. Clean up your cuticles
10. Apply a top coat and you're done!

Help! I need feedback & Announcements!
Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful day! It's almost the weekend, yay! What are your plans? I start bowling this Saturday so that should be fun! Anyway, I have a couple of announcements for you all and I need some help with a couple of things.
-New Phone:
-I got my new phone yesterday! (Galaxy S III) I absolutely love it!
-This means I get to post more often now because I actually have a flash now unlike my other android I had. (LG Optimus) Usually I would have to wait for it to be sunny so I could take picture but now with this phone I won't have to!
-Also, that means my pictures will be a lot better quality than my other pics!
-I don't use digital cameras because I already have 2 and they broke on me. So there's no point in buying a new one because I end up breaking them.
So this brings me into the next topics:
-Twitter
-I've always had a twitter but never really used it. But now that it's so much easier to get on twitter through this phone, I will be using it more often
-Twitter name: latinainlove93 *Don't judge I was like 15 when I made that account lol
-Instagram: Help me choose a name
-I've decided to jump on the bandwagon and get myself an instagram
-This will be used to post: my nails before they get posted on here, beauty related things, my family, or whenever I go out , and whenever I buy things. Typical stuff you post on instagram
-So here's where I need your help: What should my instagram name be?
-Latinainlove93 (like my twitter) ??
-NailAddict ??
-something with my name in it ??
Leave a comment below letting me know what you think! Thanks, I really appreciate it!

GRADIENT TUTORIAL
Hello my lovelies! So it's finally here, the most requested tutorial I get! A tutorial on how I do my gradients! Remember that this is what works for me. If something else works for you, then go for it. Enjoy!
*This is a super long and very in depth post but I wanted to make sure that I include everything to help you all! Text that are in bold are little notes/tips that I think make a big difference.
*Also, I updated my coming soon tab based on what you all requested! If you have any other requests, leave a comment below!
If you haven't seen my gradients, here are a few of them!
Now before we get started, let me show you how your gradients should and shouldn't look.
- Top picture: Here you can see where the colors begin and aren't very well blended. Bottom picture: The colors blend into each other better
Alright, lets get started:
Products you will need:
-Base & Top Coat : Seche Retain & Seche Vite
* Note: I suggest Seche Vite to make the colors appear even more blended in, plus it gives a very glossy finish.
-2-4 Nail Polishes: Sally Hansen: Lacey Lilac, China Glaze: Spontaneous, Icing: Txt Me later
*Note:
- When using the same color, the more polishes you use the better.
-If you start with a creme, the other colors should be cremes too. Sames goes with shimmers, and glitters. If you mix finishes together , you lose the nice effect.
-If you don't want to use the same colors, then make sure you use colors that blend well together. Example: yellow, orange, pink / blue, purple, pink / white, gray, black.
Sponge/Foam Brush: Around 50¢
*Note:
- You can also use a makeup sponge, kitchen sponge, etc. Use whatever works best for you
-A foam brush is what works best for me , I find it blends the colors nicer and I like that it has a handle (These should last you about 16 gradients)
(Optional) Holo glitter topcoat or any glitter: China Glaze: Fairy Dust, The Color Workshop: No name
*Note: I usually use this on my gradients to mesh the colors even more. However, you don't have to use this.
Let's begin:
*Warning: I use the word blend/ing A LOT! lol
1. Start with applying a base coat
2. Apply 1 coat of your lightest color
*Note: Don't worry if you have bald spot or streaks, it will all be covered up.
3. "Paint" all of your nail polishes onto your sponge, going from lightest to darkest
4. Start sponging your nail.
*Note:
-You can tape of your sides, like water marbling to avoid a messy cleanup
-I like to start sponging from side to side then up and down slightly
5. After sponging your nails, let them dry a bit
6. Repeat steps 3-4. You can see going over a second time, makes a difference.
*Note: The second time you sponge, focus on going up and down. This blends the colors into each other as opposed to just sponging and not moving up or down
At this point, you can clean up your cuticles and apply a top coat. But if you still want to spice up your gradient, keep reading!
7.Clean up cuticles & apply a glitter topcoat
*Note: Apply a bit of pressure when doing this to drag the colors into one another
8. Again, this is optional. Stamp on a design of your choice.
9. Clean up again and apply top coat!
That's it! I hope this was helpful! I know I used the word blend like a million times but that's the key to gradients.

Kiss Nail Dress Stickers & A Few Announcements!
Hey everyone! A package came in the mail yesterday which contained two products sent to me from Kiss. So today, I'll be showing you the nail dress stickers. As you some of you may know, I LOVE these stickers so much. They stay on forever and fit the nail perfectly.
I applied them to my mom because she was complaining that I never let her use these kinds of products. Excuse the pictures, she doesn't understand how picky I am with my pictures! Enjoy!
Also, a couple of announcements!
-My giveaway ends tommorrow at midnight (technically Sept 3)
-I just reached 200 followers like 10 minutes ago! Thank you all so much! :) *BIG HUGS*
-My prayers go out to all the families who have lost their homes or someone caused by hurricane Isaac.
-Since it's been rainy, I haven't been able to take pictures for my highly requested GRADIENT TUTORIAL, but I promise that will be up early next week. Maybe Monday.
Onto the stickers:
