String Mani

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great week! For today I'm sharing a string mani. I originally saw this post from A Polish Addict. Her mani turned out way better though!

If you haven't hear of a string manicure let me inform you what you do. Take some drops of nail polish on a plate/paper and spin it with something pointed (I used a dotting tool)until its thick enough to make/pull "strings" and place on your nails. Enjoy! I hope that made sense.

  1. This technique is on my (very long) list of things to try. Was it hard to do? Any tips?

    1. It's not hard at all but requires some patience. And I recommend using polishes that are slighyly thin. :)

Ok, so you are recommending thin polishes...which I am sure I have...and patience...oh boy, I will have to pick out the right day for that one. ; )

    1. thank you!! :) ...the wet n wild: black creme I used worked perfectly! and if any of the "strings" get too thick or clumpy just add a bit more polish to your blob lol

  10. These came out great! I originally wanted to do this with red/white/blue for 4th of July but I apparently am not patient enough and all my strings were way too huge >.<
